Relic Reserve Cache Cost Analysis

Before we begin I want to take a moment to note that this is not the first release of the Relic Reserve Cache. A month ago this pack was released in tandem with a $10 promo code [making it $39.99] and while the pack has Aeromagnifiers as part of the art, the original pack did not include them as part of the prize.

As such, I’m actually going to show a screenshot of both versions of this pack, just in case we see additional updates in the future that remove them.

This pack also contains a small gamble mechanic that I will include separately.

Analysis

At the time of this posting, the best valued relic pack in the game is the Supreme Relic Duality I - It costs $99 and comes with a BOGO50% special. Purchasing one of these packs gives a player a 91% value increase, whereas purchasing both gives players a 155% value increase - The downside is that you’re spending $150.

Currently the Relic Reserve Cache sits at a solid 142% value increase, having only spent $49.99, meaning it allows players with smaller pockets to benefit from a really strong valuation. For this reason I would argue that this pack, while not technically the top valuation, is the best relic pack in the game.

While hitting the jackpot on the signal data is highly unlikely, I would consider this to be “a nice bonus” versus something I would include in whether or not I decided to purchase this pack - Its EV being super low at $3 makes it not something worth talking about.

If I had $50 and an inclination to purchase relic materials? This pack is a very solid buy and something strongly worth considering.
